The Proformance Insurance Company provides property and casualty insurance to individuals, families and businesses in the State of New Jersey.
The Company's flagship insurance product to personal insurance customers is the "High Proformance Policy." This product is designed to attract a broad spectrum of New Jersey residents for their private passenger automobile, homeowners, and personal excess ("umbrella") and specialty property liability coverage.
For businesses, the Company offers a range of commercial insurance products, including commercial property, commercial general liability, and business auto, as well as claims administrative services to self-insured corporations.
Proformance distributes its products exclusively through independent insurance agents, known as "Partner Agents," who are required to become shareholders in National Atlantic Holdings Corporation in order to represent the Company as an agent.
Our History
In 1993, a group of the leading New Jersey independent insurance agencies began informal meetings around the state to discuss their concerns about the availability of quality insurance coverage for their personal insurance clients. The agents were very concerned that the national insurance companies had been somewhat fickle in their approach to New Jersey, which they referred to as: "here today - gone tomorrow." The agencies resolved to take matters into their own hands and to provide for their customers future needs.
From these statewide meetings, The Proformance Insurance Company was conceived and dedicated to serving the insurance needs of the people of New Jersey.
